Summary
PromptGuide is a free content site. We don't require accounts, we don't collect personal information directly, and we don't sell data. This page explains what limited data is collected through standard web hosting and third-party services.
What We Collect
When you visit PromptGuide, our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) automatically logs basic technical data including your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. This is standard for all websites and is used to maintain site functionality and detect abuse.
Third-Party Services
Amazon Associates: We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an Amazon link on our site, Amazon may set cookies to track whether your purchase originated from our site so they can pay us a commission. We don't see your purchase details.
Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand how people use our site (anonymous page views, popular content). No personal information is collected.
Cookies
PromptGuide itself doesn't set cookies. Third-party services (like Amazon when you click an affiliate link) may set their own cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time without affecting your use of our site.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal information, there's nothing to access, modify, or delete. If you have questions or concerns, email hello@promptguide.example.
Children
PromptGuide is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
